We are on a tour of regional libraries this week, September 9-13, 2019. Here we are in tiny Longville, the smallest town in MN with a fully equipped library. The small meeting room was packed with engaged folks from Longville and also several visitors. We had a fine time, and enjoyed all the questions and stories that they shared.
Plum Creek Library Tour, 2019
Deane and Jill will be on a spring tour of libraries in the Plum Creek system during the first weeks of April and May, 2019. From Marshall to almost Iowa, our path crisscrosses the prairies and lakes of the beautiful southwestern part of the state. Little Minnesota in World War II tells the stories of 140 Fallen heroes from Minnesota’s littlest towns. These men were all from the tiny towns that we celebrated in our first book, Little Minnesota: 100 Towns Around 100.
Update: We visited a total of 16 libraries in SW Minnesota this spring. Please contact us if your library would like to be next!
